heyookaz asked: Hi, I have two rescue pitbulls who are both obsessed with bones and toys! However, they both keep destroying the toys in two seconds. Do you know any good ones that they can'ts break? Thank you so much!

girlstuff asked: TO: Pitbull-proof toys, Blu likes the big round tire too, she tore through the rope but enjoys running back and forth with the tire and recently learned how to give it back when she retrieves it. We recently bought her a tug-ball but she tore through that in a snap and chewed off the handle. Right now she likes her new Bone/Ball/Treat thingy. It unscrews to place these rawhide treats designed for...

messagefromyourheartt asked: For the toys... Goober looooves rawhide bones. We bought him one like the size of his leg and it took him a while to get through it. And if you go on Petco's website and search for the Red Barn White bone, our dog LOVES his. They sell them hollow or filled with meat/peanut butter stuff.

brittanyraesays asked: about the chewing on the tail, my pitbull does it still and our vet said he may have possibly had worms or something so we gave him those drops and he stopped and doesn't do it as bad as before.

addierachel asked: Hi there :) Just wanted to say I LOVE seeing pictures from your blog on my dashboard every day! Also, do you or any followers have any suggestions for some pitbull proof toys? My 7 month old has gone through a number of things, including Kongs. I'm trying to find something that will last at least a day! :) Thanks!

penelopepitbull asked: I have a question for you and your lovely followers. I have known a lot of pitties that have problems gnawing on their own tails. My friends dog did it so badly that she had to go to the vet. Penny is missing some hair frame her tail because of her biting it. What's the deal? It's like she doesn't realize it's hers, or she's super itchy nthoughts? Thank you. Xx

Apollo
This is my 4 month old pitbull puppy, Apollo. I got him about 2 months ago from a couple who didn’t want the responsibility of taking care of a puppy. Apollo was a gift from my boyfriend we had recently went through a very rough miscarriage and he wanted me to have a companion. Apollo was everything I needed and one of the best things to ever happen to me.

All was well.: RE: stolen pup →
krystlelee: someone had posted about having issues with people trying to steal their pit.. My pitty, Athena was stolen when she was about 15 weeks old. She was in her cage in the kitchen and my roomie was sleeping in his bedroom. Some kids busted the lock on our sliding glass door and took her right…

My baby girl.
I must admit that if I didn’t have any personal experience (or interactions) with Pit bulls until a few days ago and came up to a front door and saw a pit barking and jumping, I may be a bit intimidated and scared. But after I met this little girl, I realized that Pit bulls are another member of the canine species and have the same structure as any other dog, they are no different from...

ramblingsofanurbanjawn asked: It's common. Im always scared to leave Diva outside when I go in the store. I can SEE her, but I still get nervous. Pits are protective of their owner, but theyre also extremely pro-human. A lot of times, if a human approaches a non aggressive pit, they’ll just go. (It’s ONE of the reasons theyre put to fight. Their loyalty to their humans is unmatched). Ugh. Make sure he/she is...

samsgotasecret asked: I was just wondering if anyone else has had an issue like this: People have tried to steal my dog, Miya from me while I have been walking her, multiple times! Which I don't understand why they would even attempt because she is 70-75lbs so it's not like you can just scoop her up and take off, and the fact that pits are protective, so how do they think she isn't going to react.. the...
