I found Gabe, the blue nose, abandoned with his mom(not pictured) at a home in Orange County. They’d been left behind by their family nearly a month prior. Gabe is about 2 years old, 80 pounds, and a giant lapdog. He’s an absolute doll. Gabe is looking for his forever.

Luca, the red nose, was rescued by two of our volunteers from a bad situation. One of the volunteers ended up falling in love with her an adopting her.

I am hoping for some help. I am a long time pit bull owner—Linus the dog and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary in November. I got him when he was about a year old, and he is a REAL good boy. However—in the past 24 hours, he caught and killed a squirrel AND two birds. In his entire life he has only really killed one other animal, and it was a wounded bird, YEARS ago. These all happened in my yard, and we’ve lived here and he’s had full run in our fenced in yard for the past three years. WHAT IS GOING ON?! Has this happened to anyone else? He is a big lumbering clunky guy, he’s not a very stealth hunter. Could it be slow animals? Three dead is MORE than a coincidence. What should I do? (Aside from keeping him on leash all the time. When we are not in our yard, he’s ALWAYS leashed.) Any ideas? Any other experiences like this one?

so any help from any owners out there. Isis has been chewing like crazy even though he has plenty of toys and bones. i have the bitter apple spray and even that doesn’t deter him

My foster girl, Emily :) I call her the Pink Lady because her white fur is so short you see her pink skin underneath!

She’s very gentle and obedient. She’s already decided that I’m the “pack leader” and listens to me very well. I can even call her off when she wants to chase the cats or the squirrels (and I’ve only had her three days now!).
