I found Gabe, the blue nose, abandoned with his mom(not pictured) at a home in Orange County. They’d been left behind by their family nearly a month prior. Gabe is about 2 years old, 80 pounds, and a giant lapdog. He’s an absolute doll. Gabe is looking for his forever.
Luca, the red nose, was rescued by two of our volunteers from a bad situation. One of the volunteers ended up falling in love with her an adopting her.

My foster girl, Emily :) I call her the Pink Lady because her white fur is so short you see her pink skin underneath!
She’s very gentle and obedient. She’s already decided that I’m the “pack leader” and listens to me very well. I can even call her off when she wants to chase the cats or the squirrels (and I’ve only had her three days now!).

This is Janis (Joplin). She is a 1 year old Pit Bull Terrier at Wilma’s Orphans in Hempstead (Long Island), New York. She came to Wilma’s Orphans at about 8 weeks old. A couple found her and her brother in an abandoned house with two other pups that had already passed. They nursed Janis back to health but were unable to get her adopted. Her brother has already been adopted. She is 1 year old, spayed and up to date on all of her shots. She is extremely sweet, very energetic and fast. She walks well on a leash but has a tendency to get between your legs. She knows basic commands but doesn’t always listen (she could use some training as all puppies do). Hi guys. I love your blog, and it seems there’s come a time when I need help from the pit bull community. I have a pit bull named Dante. Dante is very energetic and rambunctious and he needs lots and lots of exercise before he can even begin to behave. I’m going away to school in July and my parents simply don’t have the time to devote to making sure he gets enough love, attention and exercise. None of my friends will help me out. I love him very, very much, and my family and friends are urging me to get rid of him.
I really don’t want to have to do this, but I was wondering if you could help me spread the word and maybe help me find someone to foster him while I’m up at school? He’s not aggressive towards animals or people, but cats tend to beat him up. I don’t want to have to sacrifice my dog for my education, but I don’t want to sacrifice my education for my dog either!

Help Find Homes For the Patpsco Puppies!
I work with a rescue agency located in DC called Homeward Trails. Reluctantly, they took in 4 ADORABLE pit mix puppies because of their situation. After giving their mommy away after only nursing the puppies for 5 weeks, their previous owner threw them all in a sack and left them on the road.
